1. What this session accomplished

A focused AI systems + quality infrastructure session. Eight PRs merged to main; the audit pipeline is now end-to-end validated and CI-gated.

Key decisions captured this session (GR-6)

  • Mentor gate discipline absorbed into Confidant — the Mentor’s Standard Flow gate methodology (idea seed → ideate → optimize → approve) is preserved in the Confidant repository, not lost with the offboarding.
  • Audit pipeline architecture — 3-stage pipeline (audit → review → training_plan) is the canonical form; Phase-2 design deferred until 360 peer solicitation tools are ready.
  • Tiering policy (v0.2) — auditor now enforces T1/T2/T3 tier assignments based on conformance profile; tiering is an output of the audit, not an input.
  • archivist P0 items — two items gate the archivist’s T1 upskill: (1) TOOLSPEC.md (22 tools, no ACI documentation), (2) milestone definitions before eval. Both are outstanding and owner-assigned for next session.

  • main: at commit aa21699 (batch-2 audit cycle, PR #93). PR #94 (auditor_notes schema wiring) in CI at time of session close.
  • Audit program: Cycle 1 complete — 5 agents through the pipeline. All pre-canon non-conformant as expected (baseline established).
  • Pipeline integrity: 36/36 E2E gates passing (validated in PR #90).

3. Open items for next session

P0 — gates downstream work

  1. archivist T1 upskill — two items outstanding before eval:
    • TOOLSPEC.md: 22 tools documented with no ACI (Agent Capability Index) entries — must be filled before T1 certification.
    • Milestone definitions: archivist’s milestone rubric must be defined before the T1 gate eval can run.
  2. auditor_notes in real audits — prompt v0.3 fix is in PR #94 (merged / in CI); verify that auditor_notes populates correctly in the next audit run.

P1 — ready to drive

  1. Phase-2 design — 360 peer solicitation tools (when ready); design the peer-review stage of the audit pipeline.
  2. KLMS main set as GitHub default branch — open item from the founding session; KLMS repo still has the wrong default branch set in GitHub.

5. Standing facts for the next session

  • Audit pipeline is 3-stage and CI-gated. Entry: agent-auditor runs the audit; output flows to review stage; then training_plan is generated. All three stages are E2E validated.
  • Tiering policy v0.2 is in the auditor spec. Tier assignment is an audit output derived from the conformance profile — not manually assigned.
  • Confidant holds the Mentor’s gate discipline (Standard Flow methodology). Check the Confidant project board for current status.
  • Archive discipline: GR-8 — refresh latest/ + MANIFEST in the same commit; verify is authoritative.
  • Merge discipline: GR-7 — batch merges to checkpoint; never merge mid-task. A main merge is the only deploy-triggering event.
